About

A small team in Miami that does healthcare marketing.

We work in English and Spanish, across search, paid media, content and measurement, for med spas, plastic surgeons, dentists, dermatology practices, urgent care groups and behavioral health networks. Nine people, most of them specialists in one discipline, and the person who writes your report is the person who did the work.

Everything we publish is read by a person before a client sees it. Anything clinical goes to the practice’s own clinicians first, because we do marketing and do not practice medicine.

How we work

We report in booked appointments, and we say what a number cannot prove.

The first thing we do on almost every account is connect the tracking, so a booked appointment can be traced to the ad, the page or the listing that produced it. Until that exists, a report is a list of clicks. After it exists, the conversation changes: it becomes what each appointment cost and whether the next dollar should go to search, to ads or to the website.

Where the tracking is incomplete, we say so on the page rather than round it away. The results on this site carry their caveats in the same sentence as the number. A cost per lead is called a cost per lead, not a cost per patient. A conversion gain that arrived while traffic reset after a migration is described as exactly that. If a practice does not need an agency, the free analysis says so in writing.

The founder

Michael D’Elicio ran this work in-house before he sold it.

Before founding Dweeso, Michael led digital marketing inside a national wound care practice. In one year the physician-recruiting campaigns he ran grew the group’s active physicians from 231 to 278, and a clinical certification course went from no revenue to $500,000 in its first year, with organic course purchases up roughly fifty-fold.

At a medical-ID nonprofit he led the search turnaround of a site that had fallen from 100,000 monthly visits to 5,000 under 1,300 pages of thin content. First-position keywords went from 59 to 1,200 and traffic settled near 40,000 a month. The method he built for it, an audit that sorts every page into remove, improve, consolidate or keep, is still how Dweeso approaches a site that has more pages than it has reasons for them.

He founded Dweeso in Miami to do that work for practices that cannot hire it in-house. He still runs the paid search accounts himself.
